When Using Weight Watchers, How Many Points Should My Bf Have?
I am doing weight watchers, and we are both losing weight, but I am pretty sure he should have more points than me. He is 250 lb, about 5’8" and has a job where he sits a lot. I am just wondering if he is eating enough since I make the meals and he is eating my diet food with me. I have an account on weight watchers, but I don’t think he really needs one.

I’m on WW too =) For the Momentum program, you determine how many points you should have daily by looking at the following:
1) What do you weigh? Enter the first 2 digits of your weight in pounds. For example, if you weigh 250, enter 25!
2) Are you:
Female….. add 2 points
Male… add 8 points
(33 points so far)
3) How old are you?
17-26 …. add 4 points to the 33pts
27-37…… add 3 points " "
38-47 …..add 2 points " ".
48-58….. add 1 point " ".
over 58….. no addition
4) How tall are you?
Under 5’1" … no addition
5’1" to 5’10"….. add 1 point to the total you have after completing #3.
Over 5’10"… add 2 pts
5) Do you spend most of your work day…
Sitting down? ….. no points added.
Occasionally sitting but mainly standing… add 2 pts
(and the others do not apply!)
So the total from these 5 categories is what the daily points target will be. I don’t know how old your boyfriend is, but even if he was in the highest age category, he would still get 34 points daily (could be up to 38 if he’s not though)
