What Kind of Indian Food Can I Order if I Am on Weight Watchers.?
My parents want to go to an indian restauraunt tomorrow for dinner. I am currently on weight watchers, and I want to stay as close as I can within my weight range. I plan on eating very light in the morning, but I’m still looking for some good options to choose that are fairly lower in points, so that I don’t go too overboard. If you could give me a rough estimate of the points values also (doesn’t have to be exact), that would be great!!

The best thing to do is go for tandoori chicken which is oven baked without any creamy or calorie filled sauces. Or you could opt for a dish with a tomato based sauce such as any dish with rogan, jalfrezi or madras in the name! It is the creamy sauces that really make the curry so calorie filled so deffo steer clear of korma’s and masala’s.
Get boiled rice which is pretty self explanatory!
Also go for chicken, prawn or vegetable curries rather than beef or lamb because they are less fatty.
Skip deep dried starters like onion bahjis or samosas and don’t go for the naan. Instead, have a chapatti which is only 110 calories or three poppadoms with is about 100!
Hope I have helped.
