It’s basically a diet program. They go off a points system. Everything you consume has points and you’re only allowed ‘X’ amount of points a day. You also have to attend meetings and weigh-ins on the program.
Can you lose 10-20lbs before Christmas? Sure! It’s possible. You just have to have self control.
If you don’t want to spend the membership dues though for WW, I’ve been trying out the new Flat Belly Diet, and it’s worked for me. I lost about 10lbs on it in the 32 days that the diet goes for. Here’s info on it:
You can order the book online, it’ll cost you around $40 with shipping, but it’s in stores now for around $20. I’ve seen it at Target, but you can probably get it at Barnes and Nobles too.
Unfortunately, we can’t pick and choose where we want to lose weight, but as the weight comes off, you’ll eventually lose it in the face.
