You look great in those shorts!
woohoo for being a size 8
congrats!
i start my diet monday…i hope it goes well!
Size 8! How fantastic is that!!!!! Your body is probably just taking a little breather. Take a lot of energy for it to adjust to a new weight. (At least that would be my thinking lol)
Keep it up! I am proud of you..Dont stress just keep it going. You gained .2 of muscle!
You are doing great jess! Yeah, look at it as gaining muscle mass
There are no odd sizes. I’m worried that I know this. :p
Woot Woot, Go Jess! Dont worry about the .2 it’s ok, shake it off.
Jess,
I’m curious about young girls and weight. My daughter gained 21# last year and the doctor says she needs to maintain her 85#. It makes sense, but I am afraid she is going to develop a low self-esteem or something. She is 8.5 years old. She is a big girl, wearing 10-12 jeans, but– I haved become aware of her eating habits and give her less and stuff, but do you think I should worry about dieting? What are your thoughts?

MY HERO!! You’re doing AMAZING girlie! Just keep goin! Love ya! *hugs*
you are a doll. good job this week. I consider anything within a pound range as maintaining.
My daughter is 10 and wears a 14. Her doctor said the same thing. Her and I both count points just so we know we are watching what we eat. She makes sure her lunches and snakes at school are healthy and we both eat “smart ones” meals for breakfast and dinner. We also walk after dinner about 3-4 nights a week. Since she is still growing, we are just working on keeping her weight stable. She is not trying to lose pounds.
Thanks for replying. She had a re-check last week and in a month she has actually lost a pound. We’re proud of that. The thing is, though, that she daoesn’t need to lose any weight so much as maintain her weight and not gain any more.
aww you are so sweet!!! *HUGS*
aww thank you:)
It’s really touch when it comes to young girls. I was always aware of my weight and hated the fact that I had extra pounds. All you can do is create healthy meals for your daughter and pack some healthy snacks. You can control what she eats outside the house but you can show her good eating habits. Make sure you do activities with her, maybe enroll her in a dance class or sports team? That way she’s doing FUN activity! I hate the word diet, I think adopting a healthier lifestyle is a better term
*shakes off*
Thank you!
