Is Weight Watchers the Best Diet?
I’ve always been a very active person, (I’d played field hockey in college and I go to the gym all the time and run outside etc) and now I just keep gaining and gaining weight no matter what I do. I even had my thyroid checked to make sure I was okay. (I am okay.) I am in shape, lungs wise, just really physcially disgusting. So I was wondering does weight watchers really work? And is it pretty easy to follow?

Im not sure about weight watchers(it does seem like a good diet) but i know a lot of people that lost weight on the south beach diet. This diet is supposed to be great in the long run because it helps you keep the weight off rather than just losing it and gaining it back. Weight watchers follows the same pattern becuase all the commericals say how it is a complete lifestyle change in the choices you make. So this probably would be just as good
Good luck
i think you are on to something here
most everyone i know who sticks to ww do lose weight
and yes, it does seem to be easy to follow
Any diet will work if you stick to it. The trick is keeping it off…
I have known people who have lost weight on weight watchers, but they put it back on once they stopped dieting.
counting weight watchers points is a great thing. It allows you to eat anything, but encourages you to use your points in the most beneficial way. You get "flex points" also that come in handy when you need a few extra points. It’s definitely a program you can, and should, use for life. It is NOT a fad diet- it is a new way to live. The deal is, is that it makes sure that you are not taking in more calories than you should be without actually counting the calories- you’ll learn the points really fast of the things you like to eat! You can’t help but l;ose weight on this plan and it is great for maintenance also. You can do it by going to meetings or by doing it online on their website. Good Luck
WW is a great way to make a "lifestyle change". It teaches you how to eat healthy while eating the things you like to eat completely dieting (or should I say dying of hunger). I started WW last March and lost 25 lbs…but I have had a hard time maintaining. My "lifestyle changed" because of my new job so I don’t have time to exercise. Exercise is a BIG part of any weight lose plan.
