Yes, if you are determined and do EXACTLY what they tell you.
nutrisystem it can cost a pretty penny but it truly works and the food actually tastes good and you dont have to starve to death while your dieting but you do have to try and stay active…it truly worked for two of my overweight family members
Yes, as long as you follow the guidelines and get your exercise. I’ve had friends lose 50 to even 100 pounds by using WW.
Depends on how you use it.
I gained weight, even though I fallowed the rules, eating only their food & worked out three times a week.
Hope this helps.
yes .. you have to eat by points , depending on how much you weigh and your age and hiegth they determine on how many ounds you should loose .. you have to pay like 20.00 a months for like 3 years and the give you a point system where it gives you 300 points .. and let say you ate an apple and it had 2 calories then you will have 298 points left to eat that day..
i didn’t loose the weight i wanted on weight watchers. i did try the 6 week body makeover an lost a lot more then i ever expected.
Yes, weight watchers is one of the best, safest, and healthiest ways to lose weight. Not only do they show you how to eat and make healthy decisions, the best thing about weight watchers is the accountability that they offer. Knowing that I have to be weighed every Thursday is a huge motivating factor for me to continue my healthy eating and exercise habits and not cheat!
Yes. It’s wonderful. My mom went to a few meetings, got the book, & then was determined to do it on her own. She lost 70 pounds & my mom-in-law lost 60. It’s still off. It is a lifestyle change, but they’ve been able to eat out with everyone else, spluge a little, & even eat great cakes & cookies on vacations.
I really enjoyed the program. It is good to get weighed in and have an accountability system to other people as incentive to lose weight. The meetings are so full of awesome ideas for good foods, dining out ideas, exercise tips, and just general support. I lost 52 pounds and have kept it off for over a year. It was way easier and more effective than anything else I tried. I always balked at the idea of going, because I thought that it was expensive, but the money I saved on eating less food (especially at restaurants) actually balanced it out quite a bit, so my budget was hardly affected. I personally used the Flex plan, which fit well with my lifestyle.
CONS for some people:
Costs money (I personally thought it was worth it because it worked so well)
Needs self-control (just like any diet, really)
If the meeting leader in your area is a dud, the support might not be great.
PROS
It works if you stick to it.
It is easy (takes a couple of weeks to learn it, but then you get into a pattern that is easy to keep up)
You don’t have to cut out your favorite foods (just eat sensible portions of them)
The support at meetings can be very good
Lots of on-line support groups for people using the same plan as you, and good support materials are available.
No pills
They encourage slow weight loss, which is the healthiest and most permanant type of loss (programs that promise quick loss are doomed to fail, most bodies just can’t handle it).
You don’t have to buy special food, just buy groceries like normal.
They have a good incentive program for people to keep the weight off…free lifetime membership!
