How Does the Weight Watchers Diet Work?
I went to a meeting last week and got some brochures, but looking at the amount of food that you’re supposed to eat everyday seems like a lot. I don’t think I have time to eat all of the food that is required. What do people typically eat on weight watchers? It just seems like a lot. Is there a sample menu somewhere?

It doesn’t work.
The ONLY way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in.
So, stop eating so much, get up off your fat ass and walk.

There isn’t a set menu. With Weight Watchers, you get a certain amount of points per day based on your gender, weight, age and activity level. All foods have a certain points value. For instance, a cup of pasta is 4 points. You eat your daily number of points with and extra 35 bonus points each week. Depending on how nutritious your food choices are, you could eat a lot or a little. There are no banned foods on this plan.
I am a weight watchers lifetime member and lost 70 pounds in 9 months, the whole time I was thinking this can’t be right. I felt like I was eating like a queen but still lost weight nearly every week. The mistake that most people make when dieting is thinking that they have to quit eating. That is not the case, your body needs nourishment to do it’s job and starving yourself does not work. The key is making healthy choices, portion control and working in some activity. Weight watchers helps with all of that. There are a couple of sites in my profile that give point values for just about anything that you can think of and are a great help for those doing weight watchers. Good luck!!
