I would like to try the point system routine, I’ve heard good things about it.
How did it work for you?
How much does a Weight Watchers enrollment usually cost?

Yes, I think it’s a great system because it stops you snacking! Family and friends have also found the WeightWatchers plan very effective.
I’ve been on the diet for 6 months now and have lost a total of 50 pounds
When you enrol, the leader will work out (according to your height, weight, age and gender) how many ‘points’ you should use up each day. The diet works by limiting portion size and the amount of calories and saturated fat you can consume – so the less of these that a food contains, the lower the point value.
*EXAMPLES*
Vegetable = 0 points.
Apple = 0.5 points.
Banana = 2 points.
Chicken fillet = 2.5 points.
Digestive biscuit = 3 points.
It sounds pretty complicated but WeightWatchers will provide you with a PointFinder upon enrollment, which calculates the amount of points in a product based on its nutritional information. Also, after every weigh-in you will receive a Tracker for you to keep count of how many points you have consumed during the course of the week. At first, getting to grips with the system may seem a bit tricky, but after a while you’ll know the point values of most everyday food and drink off the top of your head!
Most people get an allowance between 18 and 32 points per day, but points can be saved up for a special occasion or extra points can be earned through exercising.
The cost to enrol is £9, and then £5.50 each week until you get down to your goal weight. Upon reaching your target, you automatically become a Gold Member and may continue attending weigh-ins and meetings free of charge.
Good luck! I really hope it works out for you
Personally, i see no reason to go for weight watcher’s program. I lost 115 pounds on a low fat diet, but I was still able to eat everything i wanted. I just re-created all of my favorite foods. It takes a little time and effort to find ways to re-create your foods sometimes, but i did it most by just looking at the nutrition labels whenever i was shopping. I was consuming less than 10g of fat per day, which i know was not entirely healthy, but it worked very well and my body was very pure, aside from the pesticides and preservatives in the foods today. sandwhichees and pickles r a great way to shed the pounds. There are faf free chips (i love the lay’s potato chips). I also cut out all sugar. I drank nothing but water. This diet soudns harder than it really was. Just be creative! very easy, jsut look at the labels on foods and challenge urself to eat as little fat as u can in one day. Be creative!
My mom started Weight Watchers almost two month ago, and she’s already lost close to 17 pounds. I think that it’s $30 to enroll, I’m not entirely sure though. Anyway, what my mom did was she enrolled, left it when she had to pay again, bought the Weight Watchers calculator and books, and just continued it without the website. It’s actually fairly simple and a lot of things have Weight Watchers points on them, like the tv dinners and such. But if it doesn’t have the points on them, then it’s not hard at all to figure it out using the calculator or the guide books, which I think can bought off of their website.
Anyway, hope this helped!
Good luck!
How did it work for you?
It helped to keep me motivated, and the meetings gave me ideas about new foods to try and activities to do. I lost about 42 pounds (offically 38, but i started doing it 2 weeks before I actually joined).
How much does a Weight Watchers enrollment usually cost? If you pay as you go it is 13 a week, you can pay in advance and get it down to 9.75. Student rate is 12 a week. This can be different for different areas.
My mum did that once…before i was born!! She said she lost like 7stone or something!! But anyway she really recommends it!!!!!!!!!
I tried it for a month and lost 6inches off my waist!! No lie!!
Don’t do it anymore though cos i always forgot to record what im eating!!
Today was my 3rd weigh in, I’m down about 14 lbs (in 3 weeks!). I signed up for the 12 week program which was $138 with my blue cross discount. The longer you commit to going the cheaper the cost is weekly. I think 20 weeks is about $189.
My wife did WW about 2 years ago and lost 50 lbs in 6 months and has kept it off. I tried doing it with her at home and never had any success. I decided to give the meetings a try and I am glad that I did. It’s a bit of a pain at first figuring points out for everything but eventually it gets easier, my wife pretty much has everything memorized now.
