Does the Cost of Weight Watchers Include Food?

I’m confused about the prices for Weight Watchers. Does the a week include food? If not, where do you get the food, and how much does it cost a month?

I did the Weight Watchers system without paying for it and it worked GREAT….save some money and just do it by the points system and add them up on based on your weight and height…..it will tell you how many points you can have based on those things. Go to their site and it will tell you how to calculate everything…. but here’s the site I use and it’s just the same as joining.. I don’t understand why people even bother joining when it’s easier to just calculate the points on your own go here:

There are no special foods that you have to eat on weight watchers. Their system is just a simplified way of keeping track of what you eat with an emphasis on healthy foods and a built in support network. The $12 gets you the weekly meeting with weigh in along with the necessary support materials.
For me the money was a non-issue as I saved (and continue to save) probably twice that much money by not buying the junk that I was eating every week.

The $12 per week does not include food. You don’t need to buy the weight watchers food if you don’t want to. I much prefer my own food (I like spicy food). My food budget when I was on the program was around $300 per month. Oh, you can find the food in most major grocery stores (in Canada you can get it at Loeb).
