Do I Have to Use Up All My Weight Watchers Points Each Day?
I am just starting out on Weight Watchers and am allowed 31 points a day. Between breakfast and lunch I use up about 8-10 points. That leaves me with 21-23 points to spend for the rest of the day. I would have to consume quite a bit of fat and calories to use up all those points. I only plan on about 10 points for dinner. Do I have to use up the rest of those points or can I do without them?

you dont HAVE to… but it is recommended that you do. so you can get all the nutriants that you need..
good luck with the weight loss!
I am also on WW, but I only get 23 points per day…I would say stay as close to your points as possible. If you are consistantly under by that much you wont lose weight…and any you do lose will come back pretty fast.
Treat yourself to some Ice Cream or cheese that will push your points up and make sure you are well nourished.
I hit close to my 23 points but I can only have a starbucks iced mocha as a treat once every couple of days as its 5 points! Consider yourself LUCKY!!!
Good Luck with WW
You don’t have to use all of your points every day but if you use too few it won’t work as you need a certain amount to function. My friend and I go to WW and she had too few points which resulted in her not losing any weight.
You can carry points over/save points for a specail occasion but only in one week but you can only save four points a day. Therefor the minimum you can have is 27.
I would suggest making the most of the points whilst you have them!
There are lots of things that are good for you that are high in points due to natural fats like nuts and avacado so treat yourself whilst you can because when the weight starts falling off you lose a point for every stone you lose!
I’m on WW and the more you lose the harder it gets. It works an absolute treat though. Good luck! x
You should try to use them all if you can, as your body needs a certain number of calories for things like keeping your heart beating, healing scratches and cuts, producing hormones, processing nerve impulses, and all kinds of stuff like that. Although you want your body to use some of your stored fat energy, you also don’t want it to slow down your metabolism to a point where it is not using fat at all. Eating enough food is just as important to weight loss as not eating too much!
Have fun with WW! I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off over a year!
