I am almost 17, and I am about 15 lb overweight. I am going to attend weight watchers meetings. Do you think that they people there will think it’s weird that I am there? I’m so nervous, I don’t want anyone to look at me funny or anything :/
I only want to lose about 5 lbs or so but I still need some help and motivation with how many calories to eat, etc..weight watchers seems good but does it really help? I know you get a certain amount of points but how many calories is each point worth? thanks for your help!
*I weight 112, so I’m not that overweight either..does it help with ppl who want to tone up or lose just a little flab?
I’m 13 and going on overweight. Now, my mom and I are going to do Weight Watchers together and train for a 5k. I’ve been trying to avoid processed foods (including frozen meals such as Weight Watchers), but now that I’m doing this with my mom… What should I do? Should I go ahead and start or should I avoid the processed and go for organic?
Also, my goal is 115 (I’m 123 and 5’5"), so how quickly will the diet work? Thanks!
This is my Week 21 weigh in. Started Week 1 at 404.2 lbs and now I am down 49.6 lbs. I’m going to “Weight Watchers” and exercising. Please subscribe and enjoy my videos. If you need to lose weight. We can do it together!!! Myspace www.myspace.com
I have an opportunity through a gov’t funded research study to attend Weight Watchers for free. The study is about dropout rates and success of professional Weight loss programs, or something like that. I have always been a little overweight, but am pretty active, and know exactly what I am eating that is bad for me. I have always avoided WW as I didn’t want to pay for what I feel like I already know. What do you think? Anyone done it before? Is it stupid, or pretty worth the time? Just wondering!
I am 5 feet 5 and 189.5 pounds as of today’s date 1-2-10. I am blogging on youtube to get some motivation to lose at least 20 pounds by 4-17-10 (on that day my first son will be 7). I weighed 170 when I got pregnant with him, so I think that is a good start. My ultimate goal is to lose 50 pounds and get down to 139.5, but I have decided to celebrate success in 20 pound increments. Please support me in my journey and subscribe or add me as a friend.
So I haven’t quite managed to get rid of ALL the long weekend weight I gained, but it’s a start. I’m finding it very difficult to stay as focused as I was at the beginning, and I feel I need to change or do something in order for me to suceed. My efforts are definitely waning… Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com
I’m quite a few pounds overweight and I’ve been trying for nearly a year to bring my weight down, but I’ve been having a lot of trouble. My sister who is 23 was on weight watchers for I forget how long and it really helped her. I’m 16 and I really want to try it, will I be able to?
I am thinking abo ut doing weight watchers because I am 80-100lbs overweight. I would like to go to meetings to hopefully find some new friends my age. I am 23. I’ve heard that weight watchers is mostly for older women though. If that’s the case, I might do the online program. Does anyone have any personal experience with this?
