I know…..I know I have to change my lifestyle in order to lose weight, and I have a pretty good start, but have not seen any results. I have pretty much cut out fast food and junk foods. I eat salads, fresh fruits and veggies a lot more than before. I am drinking water like crazy and am exercising moderately by walking, bike riding or tennis daily. I have started lifting light weights and doing sit ups/crunches. I just want to jump start and see some results within 2 weeks. I have been doing so for about 3 weeks already. Do you think two weeks of shakes is OK and will it help? I would love to drop about 10 pound in 2 weeks. ( I started about 3 weeks ago) I am open to all forms of sincere advice. Thanks.

In order to stay eligible for our low health insurance, if your BMI is over a certain amount you either have to join weight watchers (at their cost) or wear on of those pedometers that counts how many steps you take. I’ve been working out for a while, and I’ve actually lost 10lbs in the last 2 1/2 weeks, so I’ve already made changes to my lifestyle. Which one would you pick.?

I need to lose weight-but I want a "lifestyle" change-I’m only 22, I have a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old and I just want to lose about 40 pounds-keep it off and life a healthy life for me and my kids. Is the Weight Watchers online program something that sounds good for me? Have you tried it? What’s the difference between the online program and the meetings?

So I haven’t quite managed to get rid of ALL the long weekend weight I gained, but it’s a start. I’m finding it very difficult to stay as focused as I was at the beginning, and I feel I need to change or do something in order for me to suceed. My efforts are definitely waning… Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com

How Do I Use Weight Watchers to GAIN Weight?

My gf is starting Weight Watchers Flex program to lose some weight. I volunteered to join her for support, but my goal is to GAIN and maintain weight. I am approx 172-174 lbs and would like to be 180-183 lbs. I am a 25 yr old male, 6’1" and live a fairly active lifestyle, exercising for about 5-6 hours p/week at a high intensity (playing squash, running, swimming, martial arts training, small but regular amount of weight lifting), and I walk everywhere since I don’t own a car.

How many points per day/week should I be aiming for to reach and maintain my goal of 180lbs?

Or, even better, how do I calculate the points myself?

Please don’t refer me to the Weight Watchers website, since I do not intend on paying for a membership.
